off!
Houston, we
have a mural.
An orbital adventure
awaits a lucky six-year old boy from Brighton every time
he enters his space-themed bedroom.
Muraldesign’s
transformation saw a ‘normal’ room become the inside
of a spaceship with windows painted on the walls and
ceiling, creating a ‘view’ out to the solar system.
For a
fantastic special effect, fibre optic lights were
installed on a MDF panel to create a twinkling stars
effect at night.
As a quirky touch
the spaceship's ‘commander’ was painted as an
astronaut waving through a window during a spacewalk.
Funny, the
astronaut bears a striking resemblance to the
bedroom’s owner…
