Children's Hospital, Brighton Mural
of a cruise ship. February 2004 I
was commissioned to paint a whole corridor of a ward in
a Children's Hospital as if you were on a cruise
ship. The ward was 25m long and I painted both
sides of the corridor so it was a total of 50m
painting. I painted all the
doorways in the same theme, including desert islands,
dolphins, whales, seabirds and even an iceberg. It
is one of the largest murals I have ever done and was
certainly a challenge, but really good fun.
